Seismic Measurements

According to “Earth Vibrations from a Nuclear Explosion in a Salt Dome”, there were three seismic measurement projects for the Salmon event: on-site, off-site, and seismic safety measurements. One-site measurement was 1.458 to 6.263 km from surface zero. Off-site measurement was approximately 17.8 to 603.3 km. Seismic safety measurements included six towns with a radius of 60 km and Salmon in the center. The three projects were combined to make one report. Attached is figure 4.20 which shows the on-site stations, figure 2-1 shows the off-site stations, and Table 4.1 lists the slant distances from the shot point.
